Poultry Farming
as a Center for Local Resource Recycling
and Landscape Creation

Through TenTen(点々), we are attempting to deliver the irreplaceable value of our pride in the blessings of nature and human skills nurtured in each of the four seasons through agriculture, food, and lodging. Our goal is to pass on to the future the satoyama lifestyle that has been passed down from generation to generation in this region, and the fresh green of spring and the golden colors of autumn in the terraced rice paddies. The TenTen project is driven by our passion to create landscapes within a 1km radius of where we live that we want to leave behind for the future.

We raise chickens on fermented feed made directly from local rice and vegetables. We also use chicken manure as fertilizer to grow new crops. Through these efforts, we are attempting to build a recycling system for local resources through poultry farming. Our activities are also about creating a landscape for the Chisha community.
